Westwood Honda is once again supporting Warm Places for Women by spearheading our second annual Purse Drive. Founded in 1921, Soroptimist International is a global volunteer movement with a network of around 66,000 club members in 120 countries, advocating for human rights and gender equality. This month the Tri-Cities Soroptimists are hosting an evening/dinner to benefit women in need in our community. Last year, the women of Westwood Honda dug out their gently used purses and found all sorts of goodies to stuff them with. Many women who attend these evenings left their homes with nothing. Our Purse Drive made a big impact last year, and we are excited to support this wonderful organization once again.
This year, we are looking for donations from the community to assist with our goal of donating 50 purses. Once collected, the dealership will divide the donated goods amongst the collected purses, and ensure they are all topped up evenly. In support of this initiative, the service team invites you, our amazing customers, to drop off gently used purses or any items needed. In return, you will receive $10 off your service bill during the month of April. The sales and finance team are also happy to offer any customers purchasing a vehicle or buying out their lease a mug or hat of the customer’s choosing from the parts department (up to a $25 value). Please join us in supporting this great cause!
