FAQ’s

Do I need to get a claim number for my repairs?

Yes, you must either phone I.C.B.C. at 604-520-8222 or online at ICBC.COM/CLAIMS. If you have another insurance provider, please call them.

Do we open a file with ICBC on your behalf?

As we are not directly involved in the accident, we cannot open the claim on your behalf. We can however, guide you through the process on how to go about making the claim. If you require further assistance, please come visit our dealership and we can guide you through the process in person.

When can you expect a response from us?

Once the claim has been made with your insurance provider, you will receive a claim number. Reach out to us with your claim number directly at 604-461-3326 and we will make the necessary arrangements for with an accredited body shop. At this time we can provide you with a timeline estimate of when your vehicle will be repaired and back on the road.

If the accident is major can my vehicle be towed here?

No, the vehicle will have to be towed to the Collision center or the insurance companies holding yard so they can determine if the vehicle is repairable or not. If it is repairable at that time the insurance company will contact you and ask which body shop facility you would like them to tow it to. This is when you can call us and we can inform your insurance company which repair shops we use. From here we can monitor the repair status and make arrangements for a courtesy vehicle should you require one.

How do they get alternate transportation while the vehicle is being repaired?

The Bodyshop will either have their own vehicle of they will rent a vehicle if they have the extra coverage on their insurance policy.

How do I pay my deductible and sign the final documents?

Signing of the final documents and deductible payment can be transacted at the time of pick up. You may either choose to retrieve your vehicle from the body shop which completed the repairs or you may have the vehicle picked up at Westwood Honda, whichever is most convenient.

Can we assist with all makes and models?

Yes! We can help with all makes and models. All of our Body shops/Collision Repair centers are I.C.B.C. accredited.
